The purpose of the new menu layout is to provide logical and consistent access to key Zabbix features: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dashboards have been moved to a top level menu entry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new top-level Alerts section has been added, containing notification-related submenus<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new top-level Users section has been added, containing submenus related to user management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new Data Collection top-level menu replaces the Setup menu and contains submenus related to data collection setup\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/menu_1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/menu_1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11821\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The new menu layout allows for more consistent flows on the frontend.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Real-time streaming of HTTP metrics and events<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transmit real-time metrics and events from Zabbix to external systems via HTTP:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make Zabbix part of your data pipeline by streaming metrics and events to brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ or Amazon Kinesis and adapt your system&#8217;s behavior to the data collected in real time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stream important metrics and events from your applications and microservices to a data lake or data warehouse for long-term storage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain additional insights from your metrics and events by passing them to an external AI tool.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new Connectors section has been added under Administration \u2013 General<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Connectors section allows users to define external systems where item and event values can be sent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zabbix Server acts as a client and sends the data to the remote endpoint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Streaming is done via REST API using HTTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select between transmitting item values or trigger events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can pass only data that matches the tag filter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/streamingmetrics_1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/streamingmetrics_1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11824\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Enable streaming of real-time metrics and events by specifying an HTTP endpoint.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Template Versioning<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Template versioning was introduced to improve template management and make it easier:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Template versioning can be used in your CI\/CD pipeline and automatically keeps your templates up to date with the Zabbix API<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New fields in the template list \u2013 Supplier and Version<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The latest Zabbix 6.4 templates have been updated to include the Vendor and Version fields<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing templates will already have these empty fields<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/templateversions_1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/templateversions_1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11827\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em><em>Vendor and template version can be viewed in Zabbix frontend<\/em><\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Development framework for creating Zabbix widgets<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several design changes have been made with the aim of simplifying the workflow for creating custom widgets in Zabbix:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Widgets have been converted into frontend modules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modules are now fully self-contained &#8211;
