Today we&#8217;re going to show you how easy it is to configure your Mikrotik router to export NetFlow.<br\/><br\/>Here is the information about our server that will receive the NetFlow data:<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Source IP (Src-address): 192.168.210.49<br\/>NetFlow Server: 192.168.210.47<br\/>NetFlow Port: 2055<br\/>NetFlow Version: 9<br\/><\/pre>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first step in configuring Mikrotik is to access it via Winbox or, if you prefer, via the CLI. In this first example, we\u2019ll demonstrate the process using Winbox:<br\/><br\/>. Go to the menu: IP -&gt; Traffic Flow<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-24-at-16.17.36-1024x586.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-682\"\/><figcaption>Menu: IP -&gt; Traffic Flow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Traffic Flow menu, you need to configure \u201c<br\/><br\/>.\u201d Check the \u201cEnabled\u201d option.<br\/>Configure which interface(s) you will use to export NetFlow.<br\/>Cache Entries: Values typically range from 1M to 4M (depending on your router\u2019s memory)<br\/><br\/>Once you\u2019ve configured these options, NetFlow is enabled on your router, but you still need to configure the Targets to export data to your NetFlow server.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-24-at-16.17.52-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-683\"\/><figcaption>Traffic Flow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next step is to configure the Targets, which are the server(s) that will receive the NetFlow data.<br\/><br\/>Click on the Targets Option and then on Add<br\/><br\/>Set the options as configured in your Netflow Server<br\/><br\/>Source Address (Source IP): 192.168.210.49<br\/>Destination Address (NetFlow Server IP): 192.168.210.47<br\/>Port: 2055<br\/>Version: 9  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.made4it.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-24-at-16.18.02.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-684\"\/><figcaption>Configuring Targets within Traffic Flow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With these settings, your router will already be exporting data.
